Overdare

So Overdare's teaming up with Circle, the brains behind USD Coin, to kick in-game buys and creator cash-outs up a notch. This collab, dropped on Feb 26, is all about hooking up creators with USDC coins right in the game. It's a big move for folks looking to make bank from their game content, giving them a steady way to earn.

Overdare, crafted by the giants Naver Z and Krafton (yup, the PUBG legends), is this next-level mobile game that's like if Roblox went all out with Unreal Engine 5. Launched mid-Sept 2023, it's spicing up the scene with NFTs for a super unique play experience. Plus, tossing USDC into the mix is about smoothing out those $$$ transactions for creators, offering a solid alternative to the usual setup.

Henry Park from Overdare and Circle's Jeremy Allaire are hyped about what this means for gaming's future, especially with all eyes on blockchain gaming tokens right now. The Pixel crypto token, for example, blew up big time after hitting Binance, clocking in at a whopping $2.7 billion value. So yeah, Overdare and Circle are onto something major, promising a whole new era where gaming meets crypto in the coolest way.

Logan Paul

Logan Paul's out here in a new doc, "5 Months with Logan Paul” spilling the tea on that CryptoZoo drama. Basically, he's like: "Yeah, it didn't go as planned, and folks lost money, but calling it a scam? Nah." He's owning up that he was in over his head and even lost a chunk of change himself.

Paul's getting real, saying the stress got so bad, he was hitting rock bottom, feeling all kinds of low. And now, he's on a mission to set things right, especially with folks painting him as the bad guy in this whole CryptoZoo mess.

Back in January, he was all fired up, ready to throw down in court against Coffeezilla, who was calling him out. But then, Paul switched gears, apologized, and even rolled out a plan trying to make amends with a $1.5 million recovery fund. Yet, it took a lawsuit and a whole lot of drama before that plan took off.

Fast forward, and there's a class-action lawsuit with players claiming CryptoZoo was a major letdown. Paul's stance? The story's not done yet, and he's looking to clear his name and maybe, just maybe, turn the ship around.

Snaky Cat

iCandy Interactive and Animoca Brands just dropped a limited-time bash in their blockchain game, Snaky Cat, flipping the old-school snake game with some dope token rewards. For a hot minute, jumping into the game won't cost you the usual 300 $TOWER tokens, throwing open the doors for everyone to snag a piece of the massive 900K $TOWER prize stash.

By steering a virtual cat around to munch on food and dodge the competition, you can stack up $TOWER tokens, linking old-school vibes with new-school rewards. Plus, thanks to hooking up with Coinbase’s L2 Base, say goodbye to steep transaction fees and hello to speedy game action, making blockchain gaming a breeze to get into.

Snaky Cat's riding the wave of the Play-to-Earn trend, making its mark with this event. It's a glimpse into how gaming's evolving, mixing the charm of classic gaming with blockchain's cutting-edge to craft experiences that aren't just fun, but can fatten your wallet too.
